Pink Tantra – Understanding and Implementing It
Tantra is a spiritual practice that’s thousands of years old. It’s based on the idea that there are two energies in the universe: male and female. The goal of Tantra is to unite these two energies and create harmony within yourself, with others, and the entire universe, which can lead to greater happiness in your life.
The world of Tantra can be very intimidating for those new to it. Pink Tantra is designed to help you get started with this practice, but there are a few things that you should know before diving in headfirst. Let’s begin.
What is the Pink Tantra?
We are surrounded by colors. Colors have a deep connection with spirituality. For example, the color white represents purity, blue represents wisdom, saffron is the color of courage and sacrifice, and Bordeaux is the color of confidence. Similarly, the color pink has a profound meaning in spirituality. Some consider it the color of femininity, innocence, and others associate this color with joy, optimism, and happiness. So, what does the pink color mean in Tantra?
To understand what the pink Tantra is, first, we need to understand the red and white Tantra, the two basic foundations of Pink. White Tantra is all about purification. It’s a journey towards absolute spiritual growth, dealing with Sattvic (pure) energy. On the other hand, red Tantra has an emphasis on the unity of divine feminine and masculine. This path is also called a Rajasic path. Combination of these two results in the pink Tantra.
Pink Tantra is a relatively modern term. It mainly focuses on opening the heart to positivity, emotions, new relationships, love, and forgiveness. Pink Tantra has practices like meditation, to be practiced in somewhat intimate and open-hearted settings, with a critical focus on the union of the divine feminine and divine masculine energy within each of us.
Pink Tantra teaches us about accepting and loving our bodies. It teaches us how to cultivate love while keeping unhealthy attachments at bay. The heart chakra is often portrayed in a green color. Still, many energy healers consider it pink, keeping the power of the color Pink in mind. Whenever a healer evokes higher levels of emotions, they often depict the heart chakra in pink.
Pink Tantra is a perfect combination of white and red Tantra. This can be practiced alone, in pairs, or in groups; we need consciousness, an open heart, and love. The practice of pink Tantra meditation begins with awareness of breathing and conditioning, accepting all throughout with love. Nothing requires repair. Rituals and meditations of the pink Tantra usually are heart-centered, intensely personal, and spirited.
In aiming for a loving relationship, the partner is considered the main aim for affectionate and positive projection and a source of spiritual growth. Union remains the goal, polarity is the method, and union with your inner man or woman is the outcome. Spiritual practitioners practicing the Tantra must remember that the goal is to awaken lust, love, and life energy; to achieve energy balance. The practitioner must remember that there is nothing to master. It is a road of love and consciousness expansion that combines and transforms sexual and emotional energies.
Heart Chakra Meditation
Anahata, or the Heart Chakra, is the fourth Chakra, which represents transformation and love energy. The Heart Chakra is considered a deep bond with the universe and relates to feelings like respect and compassion. A well-balanced Anahata Chakra allows us to feel open to new life experiences and love within everyone around us. This Chakra is closely linked with empathy and your ability to love unconditionally.
Meditation is the best tool when it comes to restoring our Chakras. Chakra meditation is a meditation technique similar to regular meditation. Still, here, we concentrate on the specific energy vortex center of the body, known as a Chakra. So, next time you sit for meditation, follow these steps to incorporate the power of Pink into your heart chakra meditation.
Ideally, you should sit in your prayer room. Sit comfortably in a cross-legged position while keeping your back straight and your eyes closed. Breathe a few times deeply and let your body relax. Completely fill your lungs with air, wait for a second, then let all the breath out of your lungs. Take a little pause, then continue for another two minutes.
At the level of your heart, visualize a glowing pink orb in the middle of the chest. Visualize the Heart Chakra absorbing healing from the Third Eye Chakra’s healing energies. Take in the force of life and love. Feel the warmth and love expanding within you. In both of your palms, the intensity of passion subsided.
Imagine that your heart has transformed into a luminous sphere that is emanating light and enveloping your entire being in warmth, love, and light. The more you breathe in and out, the stronger this energy, love, light, and warmth grow.
You can chant “Ha Sa Ka La Hareem” to balance the heart chakra while concentrating on breathing. You should recite it aloud for the first five minutes, and then you can recite it silently in your head for the following nine to ten minutes. Open your eyes afterward and continue on with your day.
This powerful mantra aids in clearing and balancing the Heart Chakra and strengthens your sense of gratitude and empathy, two characteristics that every serious seeker must possess. We recommend that you communicate with your guru before beginning this Sadhana since they’re the ones who understand you the best.
Even though there is plenty of literature available on Chakra balancing, it is highly recommended that one learn these steps under the supervision of a Guru. Everyone has unique spirituality, personality, and experiences. One solution cannot fit all; therefore, it is imperative to seek guidance from spiritual experts to get that particular mantra and Chakra meditation method crafted exclusively for you. And hence, we recommend you practice these methods mentioned above under the guidance of an expert.
We hope you have gained some new insight into pink Tantra and how you can implement it in your Sadhana.
