How to Awaken Your Spirituality
We all know about spiritual powers. They exist within everyone and accessing them is a matter of looking inward and invoking them.
But the question then becomes how? How do we look inward and wake these spiritual powers of ours? How do we access them and use them to our benefit?
Well, it’s easy; maybe not always, but mostly it’s easy.
Invoking Your Spirituality
The first step to invoking your spirituality is the belief that a universal consciousness called God exists. The next step is to understand that all the people you admire are also just people. The only difference between you and them is that they have found a balance in their life that allows them to move ahead.
You see, success in life is about balance. Whatever goal we set, we must remember find a balance between working hard for the goal and resting. Whether we are out to make money or are walking a spiritual path, the key is balance.
Finding the Balance
To find the balance, we must look inward and face our Self. This is harder than it sounds. We all have a lot of unresolved feelings and fears that we must face if we truly want to awaken our spiritual powers.
We must decide that we want to face our fears and feelings and get through them. Everyone is capable of making this choice and following it through. Whoever said that when you do something wholeheartedly it turns out well had it right.
Taking Little Steps
Facing our fears and feelings may seem like a huge task. That’s why it is better to take small steps first and then move ahead. These little steps when collected together will definitely make a huge change in our life.
Remember that our attitude makes a huge difference. No matter what we do, if we do it with love and patience it will be easier to get through and will have better results.
Moving Beyond the Mind
To truly awaken our spiritual powers, we have to move beyond the mind. We must meditate, chant mantras and worship our deity of choice (sadhna). As we do these things, we begin to feel a difference and understand that we actually know very little about life.
The deeper this understanding, the more we begin to know and learn. This, in turn, activates our spiritual powers and allows us to access them.
Remember, though, that maintaining this state of ‘no-mind’ is only possible with continuous practice of sadhna. So, continue practicing your sadhna to awaken your spirituality.
