Maintain Your Spiritual Well Being by being Kind, Forgiving and Grateful
Health is the greatest gift of God to mankind. When we talk about health, it doesn’t just signify our physical health. Both spiritual as well as mental health is important for an individual’s well-being and is indeed an integral feature of the holistic health philosophy. In fact, physical, mental and spiritual health is profoundly entwined and has a deep effect on one another.
One thing that we need to understand clearly is that our physical health is entirely dependent on our mental health. In order to maintain emotional balance and remain mentally healthy, it is important to remain spiritually healthy.
When we talk about spiritual health, it means self-awareness and enlightenment of the soul. When the soul becomes enlightened, it has little or very less attachment to any object counting one’s own body. It considers everyone as different souls and not as body and thus develops a feeling of brotherhood for all the other souls.
A person who is spiritually healthy has eternal connection with the supreme lord, who in turn is the source of all positive energy. When the soul gets connected with the supreme soul, the person remains un-affected by all sort of worldly obstacles. In fact, when we feel spiritually associated and satisfied, it becomes much easier to deal with everything including physical or emotional pain. We are then in a state of ecstasy.
In order to achieve spiritual health, you need to be forgiving, grateful, and be at peace with yourself. When you are spiritually fulfilled, you pave the way to a satisfying and successful life. All this and more can help you in maintaining your spiritual well-being.
