Spiritual Healing – What Is it? How To Do It And Why Do We Do It?
In most of his live sessions, Swami Ji mentions Spiritual Healing and how one can perform it. There are many cases where people have come forward and shared their experiences with Spiritual Healing. Holistic Sciences, Spiritual Sciences, and Alternative Medicine are becoming more and more popular globally. While Swami Ji always suggests that one must go to a medical professional first, one cannot deny Spiritual Healing’s effectiveness and power.
In this blog, we will understand what Spiritual Healing is, how it is done, and why spiritual practitioners perform it.
What Is Spiritual Healing?
Spiritual Healing can be defined as making a person healthy by using spiritual energies, Mantras, and the blessings of one’s Ishta Deva and the Divine Mother. While different healing techniques like reiki, theta, therapy, etc., use different methods, the spiritual energies, the blessings, and the Mantras (in the form of affirmations in some techniques) remain the same.
It is to note here that while western medicine focuses on the symptoms of a particular ailment and works towards eradicating the symptoms, spiritual Healing focuses on reaching the root cause of an illness and works towards the overall health of a person. However, when a person begins receiving spiritual Healing, they experience relief from their ailment from day one itself, but this cannot be misunderstood as complete Healing. A person should continue receiving Healing till they are back to being completely healthy.
How to Do It?
Different Spiritual Healers can have different ways of Healing, but the most commonly used method is this –
Sit for your Sadhana as usual.
After beginning your Sadhana and Mantra chanting, visualize the individual you need to give Healing to
It helps to have their recent (not more than a couple of months old) picture, full name, and birth date.
Concentrate on the Chakra that rules over the organ they have the ailment in. (Each Chakra is responsible for a group of organs and body parts). Click on this infographic to understand this better (link to infographic)
Through your Heart Chakra or Third Eye Chakra, send Healing to the individual’s Chakra that needs Healing.
After Healing, thank the individual for allowing you to heal them, thank your spiritual powers, thank your Istha Deva, the Divine Mother, your Guruji, and your parents.
Sit quietly for a bit, finish your Sadhana and get up slowly.
After performing spiritual Healing, you must recharge yourself spiritually—more on that in our next blog.
It is important to note here that while performing spiritual Healing, you might see the person in their home, see what color clothes they are wearing or what activities they are doing through clairvoyance and clairaudience. If this happens, do not mention it except if needed to your Guru Ji because talking about these things is likely to drain your spiritual powers. Also, the more frequently and consistently you perform Sadhana, the more effective your healing powers will be.
Why Do We Perform Spiritual Healing?
The first thing to understand when one begins spiritual work, especially healing, is that it is a thankless job. You can’t expect people to come and thank you, give credit to you, or even remember you after you have performed Healing on them. Yes, some of them might remember you, praise you, and thank you, but most of them won’t, and hence getting credit or fame through spiritual Healing cannot be your purpose to do it. So then why do we do it?
It’s simple; once a spiritual healer begins bathing in the shower of blessings they receive from Divine Mother, their Ishta Deva, their Guru Ji, and their parents, they realize they want to share this abundance with everyone. The more you share your spiritual gifts and the more you spread the spiritual abundance, the further you progress in your spiritual journey. You begin feeling better, Maa Herself takes care of you, and you experience joy like never before. It is believed that the joy of giving and Healing is the best joy in the world.
This is why Spiritual Healers perform Healing, and the sooner you begin experiencing this joy, all the small desires for credit and gratitude will vanish in thin air.
We hope this blog helped you understand spiritual Healing better. In case of any queries, please write to us at info@chamundaswamiji.com. We’d love to read about your experiences with spiritual Healing.
